Amanda graduated with high honors in Art Education from Hofstra University in 2001. She holds a master's degree in Studio Art from Long Island University, 2004. She's been teaching art in a public high school for over 20 years. She is an adjunct professor at her Alma Matter. Her two amazing sons and her countless students drive all of her creations.
Materials and bright color are a creative stimulation for Amanda. You can find her painting, sculpting and pushing the limits of any medium on a daily basis. Though she considers herself an abstract painter, she cannot refuse the opportunity to work three-dimensionally and executes her main concept in a variety of ways. Amanda dapples in illustration to keep herself grounded.
